Nick Aguirre is UCat’s Director of Campus Ministry. a 2014 graduate of Vanderbilt University, Nick double majored in vocal performance and economics, played free-safety on the Commodore football team and was involved with UCat and FOCUS. “I experienced firsthand the dire need for Catholic community on campus. There is a burning desire in my heart to share the faith with young people and to encourage and inspire future leaders in the church.” After graduating from Vanderbilt, Nick earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Alabama, where he taught college voice and was the music director for the student Mass at St. Francis of Assisi University Parish. Following Graduate School, Nick sang with a number of professional companies including the Utah Festival of Opera and Musical Theatre and Mississippi Opera, where he served as Chorus Master for The Pirates of Penzance. He taught for two years at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Middle School.
