In response to the COVID-19 international crisis, Bishop Spalding has dispensed the faithful of the Diocese of Nashville from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, up to and including April 3, 2020; and cancelled all Masses and other gatherings until April 3, 2020. The bishop has also asked the priests to consider opening churches at certain times of day for private prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and/or confessions. He also strongly encouraged our daily celebration of private Mass, permitted by canon 906 for just and reasonable causes such as this.
So, we will keep our regular Adoration and Confession schedule (Monday – Thursday 10-11:15 am at Frassati Chapel, and 4:30-5:30 pm at Cathedral) and Masses will be celebrated privately and live streamed on Facebook.com/FrassatiHouse and Instagram Live @universitycatholic.
